iPad Troubleshooting Guide for Seniors

1. iPad Won’t Turn On

Problem: The screen is black, and the iPad doesn’t respond.
Solution:
Charge the iPad for at least 30 minutes.
Press & hold the Power button (top-right) for 10 seconds.
Force restart the iPad:
- If the iPad has a Home button, press & hold Home + Power for 10 seconds.

Solution:
Turn Wi-Fi off & on (Settings Wi-Fi Toggle Off & On).

Restart the Wi-Fi router (Unplug for 30 sec, then plug back in).
Forget the network & reconnect:
- Settings Wi-Fi Tap the network name Forget This Network Reconnect with password.
